'Fight for a Cause' fundraiser tonight at Legends

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber in conjunction with Rico's Mexican Grill presents 'Fight for a Cause', a fundraiser event to raise money for both MCHC and various nonprofit agencies selected by participating boxers. The event will take place Thursday, Nov. 3, at Legends Sports Complex located at 602 Pruitt Road in Spring, and begins at 6 p.m.

Featured boxers that are 'sparring' for a nonprofit agency in Montgomery County are: Shenandoah Mayor Gary "The Real Deal" Watts vs. Bruce "Captain America" Tough; Rob "Banzai Warrior" Banzhaf vs. Terry "The Terminator" McBurney; Jack "The Rajin Cajun" Stibbs vs. Michael "The Grim Reaper" Valdez; Patty "Code Red" Coppola vs. Michelle "Bling Bling" O'Rourke; and Miguel "The Mad Mex" Lopez vs. Skeeter "The Torque Wrench" Hubert.

Celebrity Judges are: County Judge Barb Sadler, Sheriff Tommy Gage, Steve Sanders, Amy Milstead, Stacy Harris and Gil Staley. Special Guest Ring Announcer will be State Representative Rob Eissler and Special Guest Ring Enforcer will be Montgomery County Tax Assessor J. R. Moore, Jr. Special Guest Ring Girls will be Shaune Stauffer and the women from United America Pageant. The National Anthem will be sung by Yelba Heaton.

Sponsors of the event are Rico's Mexican Grill, as well as P4P, LJF, High Point Financial, One 30 Fitness, Energy Lab, Villa Sport, BKP and Donna Wick Marketing, Media & PR. The cost for the event is $10 Adults and $5 Children.
