THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The dynamic high-octane partnership of Rob Banzhaf and Trey Halberdier, who joined forces in 2007 founding BANDIER Realty Partners a privately held real estate investment, development and brokerage partnership headquartered in The Woodlands, are proving their value as a team.

True to their long-time childhood friendship and now steadfast business partnership, Rob Banzhaf has stepped in to take the blows meant for Trey Halberdier in the upcoming Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber (MCHC) Fight for a Cause fundraiser event to be held at Legends Sports Complex.

“I incurred an injury recently that impacted my lower spine,” Halberdier said. “I kept up my daily training despite the pain, but could see that it just wasn’t going to happen for me to compete.”

Trey “The Warrior” Halberdier was going to step into the ring to support the Will Herndon Foundation for Juvenile Batten Research. Each boxer for the fundraiser event chooses a nonprofit agency to support so that not only does MCHC reap the benefits of the evening, but also the myriad organizations brought to the fore through each boxer’s interest.

“We had made a commitment to Miguel Lopez, Chair for MCHC, and to Missy Herndon with the Will Herndon Foundation for Juvenile Batten Research,” Banzhaf said. “We stay true to our word and going to make this fight happen for the Hispanic Chamber and for Will Herndon.”

Rob “Banzai Warrior” Banzhaf will go up against Terry “The Terminator” McBurney and is ready for the challenge. Both Banzhaf and Halberdier possess the athletic prowess for most any competitive sport as Banzhaf is a long-time competitive triathlete and played two years of NCAA Division I soccer. And Halberdier won Big Ten Conference Varsity Scholar Athlete Awards and Big Ten Championship as a four-year letterman playing Division 1 Big Ten Varsity Men’s Soccer.

“The point is we are a team and when one goes down the other is always there,” Banzhaf said. “I’m ready for the fight and we are going to make a good show for the event and for our charity. It’s not really me in the ring - it is BANDIER.”

The community is invited to attend the Fight for a Cause fundraiser event to be held Thursday, Nov. 3, 6-9 p.m. at Legends Sports Complex located at 602 Pruitt Road in Spring. The event is being sponsored by Rico’s Mexican Grill. Doors open at 6 p.m. and First Bell is at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Proceeds from the event go to the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber and the charity partners selected by each boxer participating in the event.

One may also donate specifically to the Will Herndon Foundation for Juvenile Batten Research by going to BANDIER's website or by calling 281 210-0090. BANDIER Realty Partners is located at 25307 Interstate 45 N, Suite 150 in The Woodlands.
