Hosea joins tax accounting firm of Oman, Berry, & Associates

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Oman, Berry & Associates is proud to announce the hiring of Elizabeth Hosea as senior tax manager. Hosea offers 12 years of tax compliance, planning and accounting expertise, as well as experience in consulting services.

Before joining Oman, Berry and Associates, Hosea worked in public accounting in Texas and Minnesota, managing client relationships with small and mid-sized local and regional public-accounting firms. She brings proficiency in working with corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, individuals, estates and trusts. Hosea has prepared tax provision calculations and analyses; provided tax counsel on matters including stock and investment transactions; has prepared state, federal and franchise tax returns; and has provided general business consulting services.

Hosea has advised clients on tax-efficient strategies for overseas expansion and investment opportunities, and helped a client obtain a Private Letter Ruling on a gift of privately held corporate shares that brought the client tax savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Holding a B.S. in Accounting from Minnesota State University at Mankato, Hosea is a certified public accountant with active licenses in Texas and Minnesota. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas State Society of CPAs.
