College Park-Oak Ridge play to drama-filled draw

SHENANDOAH, Texas - The high school boys soccer season turns up the heat in district season, with College Park and Oak Ridge at Woodforest Bank Stadium Tuesday night.

College Park (5-1-2, 0-0-1) got a late penalty kick goal from Rodrigo Perez with just over 13:00 left in the second half as the Cavaliers and Oak Ridge War Eagles ended in a 3-3 tie.

Oak Ridge (3-3-5, 1-0-1) trailed at halftime 2-1, however came out aggressive and tied the game in the 14th minute of the second half. Alasdair McPhail put the War Eagles in front four minutes later, before the War Eagles were called for a penalty in the box, leading to the penalty kick.
