THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Realtor Carrie Wall, former sixth-grade science teacher, has joined RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring as a sales associate.

A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Wall started out teaching kindergarten in New London, Conn., later returning to her hometown of Conroe and teaching at middle schools in the Montgomery County area.

Wall said she chose real estate as a second career because “I like the idea of meeting new people and helping them with one of the biggest decisions they will make – buying a home.”

Although she said she will “always be a teacher at heart,” Wall’s love of teaching has expanded to learning. Since completing courses at Champions School of Real Estate, Wall has also earned a Certified New Home Specialist designation as well as becoming Residential Construction Certified.

“Her passionate and caring personality is evident while helping clients find the perfect home,” said Danna Furnace-Grimes, director of agent services and relocation director for RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring. “Carrie grew up in Conroe and has an incredible working knowledge of the area. She is a valuable addition to our staff.”

Wall and her husband, Vernon, have two grown children, Kimberly, an Allstate insurance agent, and Kameron, a senior at the University of Houston in pursuit of an accounting degree. When not selling real estate, Wall said she likes going to the movies, reading mystery novels and traveling to places where she can meet new people and experience different cultures.

Wall can be reached at the RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring office at 281-367-7770, on her cellphone at 832-603-2818 or via email at carrie.wall@msn.com.
