Have a magical time at the Mad Hatter Tea Party

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Mad Hatter Tea Party brings “Alice in Wonderland” to life at The Woodlands Children’s Museum.

Children are invited for child-friendly “tea” and to decorate their own cookies with the Queen of Hearts – and to laugh and chat with the Mad Hatter. The museum also has planned “Alice in Wonderland” art projects and story time as part of the festivities.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2. The party is included in the price of admission, which is $5 for children 2 and older.

Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum, said she looks forward to the Tea Party every year. “We get to host the characters from one of the best children’s books,” she said. “It’s a great way to encourage those budding imaginations and introduce more creative play to young minds.”

Children are invited to stay and play after the party, Colton said. “They can explore all of the museum’s current exhibits, which are carefully curated with education and enrichment in mind.”
