THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy (Legacy Prep) 2019 senior, Nathan McCormack, signed a letter of intent with McPherson College in Kansas. McCormack will graduate on May 17, 2019 from Legacy Prep and will be playing football for McPherson.

“I would like to thank God, my family, and my teammates for their support through the whole process. I would like to thank my coaches at Legacy for pushing me to become the best athlete and player I can be. I would also like to thank my family for being with me every step of the way,” expressed McCormack.

Founded in 2005, Legacy is comprised of grades pre-kindergarten through 12th. Legacy Prep Athletic Director Clint McDonald stated, “We are proud and excited for Nate to be able to continue his football career at McPherson College. He has shown a lot of growth and maturity over the last 2 years to fulfill his dream. He has an outstanding work ethic, is a great young man, and will do great things for the Bulldogs.”
This is McCormack’s second year attending Legacy Prep. He has played football and baseball. He will be continuing his education in Health Sciences with a minor in Sports Management. Nathan will be focusing on long snapping duties as he continues his education. He has been fine tuning his craft as a long snapper since the summer of 2014 attending various camps throughout the country including Rubio Long Snapping with Chris Rubio.

According to Steve and Christi McCormack, Nathan’s parents, “We are so proud of Nate. He worked very hard to reach this goal that he set when he was just five years old. We are extremely happy that Legacy Prep Christian Academy entered our lives when it did. The coaches, teachers, and leaders are outstanding, and they really helped Nate understand his true purpose. We will always value the friendships he made and the lives he touched while attending Legacy.'
