Randall J. Wright, MD joins Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital’s comprehensive neurosciences team

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Randall J. Wright, MD has recently joined Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital’s comprehensive neurosciences team as Medical Director of the Brain Wellness Center at The Woodlands, and is a member of the Houston Methodist Stanley H. Appel Department of Neurology.

As a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurologist with unique expertise in stroke and dementia prevention and brain health, his clinical interests also include epilepsy, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, headache/Botox injection, Parkinson’s disease, neck and back pain, and obstructive sleep apnea/sleep disorders.

Wright is a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his residency in neurology at Baylor College of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident. Wright is fellowship trained in clinical neurophysiology and sleep medicine.

He has a passion for saving lives through healthy lifestyle changes. Wright serves his community and beyond through his participation in the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Power to End Stroke Campaign as well as leading and serving on various AHA committees and advisory councils on the regional and national level. He is also a writer and speaks internationally on health and fitness.
