THE WOODLANDS, TX -- This week’s roundup is centered on the arts with a couple of other activities thrown in the mix. Music, dancing, art, Easter egg hunting and wine tasting events in our wonderful community give many options for families this week. Don’t forget to check our Events Calendar for a full list of options.

Washington wineries produce some of the best wines. Whether you are new to wine tasting or consider yourself a wine connoisseur, you will enjoy the special tasting event at Genuwine Tasting Room this Wednesday, April 10. Camaraderie Cellars’ winemaker, Don Corson, will be sharing this award-winning Washington winery’s reds. This event is $10 for the general public and no cost for Wine Club members. RSVP is required.

Dancing shows have been capturing television audiences for the past several years. It is captivating to see the beautifully executed dance routines performed by practiced couples. Thursday, April 11 is your chance to support a cause benefitting the YMCA while being entertained by local dance stars. A buffet dinner, dancing, live entertainment, silent and live auction and much more fill the schedule for the evening. You can purchase tickets here.

Easter festivities are here. Add another element of fun to the standard egg hunt by doing so in the dark. The Woodlands Township is hosting Flashlight Egg Hunts. This event is scheduled for Friday, April 12 and Sunday, April 14. Bring your cameras, flashlights and Easter baskets. Pre-registration is required for the event. Registration on event day not permitted unless space and supplies allow. Search The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation activities for the Flashlight Egg Hunt here.

Grammy® winning singer-songwriter and one of the most successful Christian artists, Chris Tomlin, is coming to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. “The ‘Holy Roar Tour’ is the experience and sound of worship,” Chris said. He will be joined by Tauren Wells, Pat Barrett, Nicole Serrano and Chris’ Pastor Darren Whitehead. Get your tickets for the Saturday, April 13 show here.
