Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of 2 for Drugs

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On Saturday, Pct. 4 Constable's Office, Montgomery County Texas Deputies stopped a white passenger car for a traffic offense at the Mobile Gas station at FM 1485 and US 59. The driver was very nervous and visibly shaking along with a very shaky voice when he spoke. The passenger was asked to step out of the vehicle and during a pat down to check for weapons, a bag was located on the male just inside his waste band. The male admitted to having narcotics inside the bag and was detained. The driver was also detained and during a probable cause search of the vehicle, more methamphetamine was located where the driver was sitting. When searching the bag that was inside the passengers clothing, methamphetamine, marijuana and ecstasy were discovered. Both males were taken into custody.
