THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Mothers of Multiples (WMOM) held a supply donation drive for Montgomery County Women’s Center (MCWC) at multiple events in May. Montgomery County Women’s Center provides shelter, counseling, advocacy and accompaniment, legal services and transitional housing to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Members Contribute Diapers, Hygiene Items and More for Shelter and Temporary Housing

WMOM members contributed over 1000 diapers, nearly 1000 feminine hygiene products and nearly 400 razors to the supply drive. Additional items donated included nursing pads, bras, flip flops, baby wipes, reusable bags and drawstring bags, grooming accessories, toiletries, toothbrushes, gas cards and mattress covers.

“The Woodlands Mothers of Multiples is proud to support Montgomery County Women’s Center’s mission to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault,” said WMOM President Jessica Riedinger. “We’re encouraged that the supplies our members have donated will benefit women and children in our area.”

Donations from WMOM will support MCWC’s Residential Programs, including Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing. The shelter has been providing a safe emergency refuge for abused women and children for over 30 years and can house up to 75 women and children each night.
