CONROE, TX -- Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes have purchased homesites in Artavia, a new 2,200-acre master-planned community in Conroe.

Coventry is offering floor plans designed for 65-foot homesites in the community while Plantation will build on 55-foot properties. Each builder will have a model home. Presales are slated to begin in August. Potential homebuyers can register online to receive a $5,000 buyer allowance if the original contract purchase date is signed before the community’s grand opening.

“We’re excited to be on the ground floor of this well-conceived master-planned community,” said Paul Blackburn, region president for McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. (MHI), parent company of Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes. “Airia Development has done an outstanding job with their Aliana community and we know they’ll do the same with Artavia. The Phase 1 development is very appealing, offering something for all types of buyers.”

Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes have a total of 78 homesites in Artavia, which is located along State Highway 242 and FM 1314.

Residents will be able to relax at a 13-acre recreation area, The Park. The Gathering Room anchors a 5-acre lake, with paddle boats and a kayak launch. Residents will enjoy a splash pad, playground, fitness center, event lawn, nature exploration area, meditation rain garden and a forested trail system.

The Artavia master plan also calls for commercial fronting State Highway 242 and an on-site Conroe Independent School District campus. The community is now zoned to San Jacinto Elementary, Grangerland Intermediate, Moorhead Junior High and Caney Caney High School.
