The Woodlands Township Board sets property tax rate at 22.4 cents

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a special meeting to adopt the 2019 Tax Rate at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard in The Woodlands, Texas.

The Board of Directors took the following actions on the Regular Agenda:

Approved the 2019 Ad Valorem Tax Rate for Maintenance and Operations at 20.86 cents per $100 of property valuation.
Adopted the 2019 Ad Valorem Tax Rate for Debt Service at 1.54 cents per $100 of property valuation.
The total tax rate is 22.4 cents per $100 valuation, which is the effective tax rate.
