The Woodlands Township Board holds meeting

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a special meeting on Friday, November 15, 2019, at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard.

The Board of Directors took the following action on the Consent Agenda:

Received a briefing on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors officer nomination process for the election of Board officers that will take place at the Wednesday, November 20, 2019 meeting.
The Board of Directors took the following actions on the Regular Agenda:

Approved the selection of an Executive Search Firm for the President/General Manager position.
Approved canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the Directors Election held within The Woodlands Township on November 5, 2019, and the adoption of an Order in the connection therewith.
The Board reported 42,798 votes cast in the recent election of three (3) directors of the Township: Position 5, Rashmi Gupta, 4,239 votes, Walter Cooke, 3,273 votes and Shelley Sekula-Gibbs, 7,055 votes; Position 6, Alan Richel, 1,379 votes, Ann K. Snyder, 11,439 votes, Louis Granados, 688 votes and Tom Chumbley, 944 votes; Position 7, Bob Milner, 6,332 votes, David Cassidy, 1,555 votes, Walt Lisiewski, 2,919 votes and Andy DuBois, 2,975 votes.
Having received the highest number of votes cast at such election for their respective positions, the Board declared the following have been elected to The Woodlands Township Board of Directors:

Shelley Sekula-Gibbs – Position 5
Ann K. Snyder – Position 6
Bob Milner – Position 7
