Drive-in fireworks planned for The Woodlands 4th of July celebration

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- This year’s edition of the Red, Hot, and Blue Festival & Fireworks Extravaganza will have a much different look than previous years. As previously announced, the festival portion, as well as the Fourth of July parade, has been canceled due to COVID-19.

The main event of the evening, the Fireworks Extravaganza, will still go on, however. The Woodlands Township is hosting a 30-minute Drive-In Fourth of July Fireworks Show. The show will also stream live on The Woodlands Township website and social media channels. The estimated start time will be around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4.
