The Woodlands Fire Department Assists South County Fire Department in Early Morning Fire

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just before 0600 this morning, The Woodlands Fire Department responded to assist South County with a structure fire in the 26000 Blk. of Maplewood Drive. First units on scene reported a two story detached garage on fire threatening exposures on either side. Firefighters did a great job in knocking down the fire quickly keeping the fire contained to just the garage. Montgomery County Hospital District also responded as well as Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office. There were no reported injuries and the fire cause is under investigation.
