Montgomery County COVID-19 Update for July 14, 2020

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX - Montgomery County Public Health District, in conjunction with Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, can regrettably confirm two additional deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 44. A man in his 60s, from Spring, died in the hospital. Another man, in his 70s from Pinehurst, also died in the hospital. Both men had co-morbidities in addition to testing positive for COVID-19. We offer our condolences to both families.

We can also confirm the total number of COVID-19 cases increased by 359 to 3,471 cases in Montgomery County. ACTIVE cases of COVID-19 increased to 1,314. Of the 1,314 active cases who are Montgomery County residents, 44 are in the hospital. 2,113 people have fully recovered.

It’s more important than ever to take steps to slow the spread of COVID-19. Avoid groups of people. Wear a mask (if it is necessary to be in public), wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently, disinfect surfaces in your car and around your home, and practice social distancing
