Montgomery County COVID-19 Update for August 3, 2020

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Montgomery County Public Health District, in conjunction with the Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, can confirm two additional deaths related to COVID-19. A hospitalized man in his 20s from Conroe has died. No co-morbidities have been noted in his case. A woman in her 80s from Montgomery has also died in the hospital. She had co-morbidities in addition to testing positive for COVID-19.We can also confirm the following:· TOTAL cases of COVID-19 increased by 95 to 6,291 since Friday’s report.· ACTIVE cases of COVID-19 decreased by 95 to 2,316 since Friday’s report.· 65 residents are known to be in the hospital, as a result of contact investigations. Contact investigations have not been initiated on all reported cases.· 3,734 people have clinically recovered.Have questions?
