The Woodlands Fire Departments Respond to Calls of Smoke at Local Apartment Complex

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after 3am this morning The Woodlands Fire Department was dispatched to the Holly Creek Apartments at 333 Holly Creek for a report of smoke filling the building. Firefighters were directed to the second floor of an apartment building where they encountered light smoke. After several minutes of searching, Truck 108 and Engine 101 located a bathroom ventilation fan that had malfunctioned and burned up. Crews quickly opened up the area around the fan and confirmed that the fire was out. There were no reported injuries and the damage was confined to the bathroom and the attic above.
