Free Mobile COVID-19 testing set up at The Woodlands Township’s Town Hall

THE WOODLANDS, TX - The Woodlands Township is a host location for free COVID-19 testing performed by COVID-19 testing company, Curative, Inc.

Curative launched this free testing on Friday, October 23, 2020 with daily hours between 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The walk-up testing will take place seven days a week at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. in The Woodlands, TX 77381 until future notice.

“We are aware that this virus has impacted everyone in some way and we want this new testing site to be an accessible benefit for our residents to help slow the spread of the virus, ultimately savings lives and preventing hospitalizations,” said Gordy Bunch, Chairman of The Woodlands Township. “This free and fast response test will help our residents find out if they are positive or negative in a quicker manner.”

Testing is performed to walk-up customers and no insurance is necessary. Appointments can also be booked at Curative.com. The test is a painless oral-fluid swab, an alternative method to nasopharyngeal or brain swabs in testing for COVID-19.

The entire Curative test is done without having to come into close contact with others. Curative representatives will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and The Woodlands Township asks that participants wear a mask while at the testing location.

Test results are provided within 24 to 48 hours via text or email depending on the user’s choice. The sample collection process can be viewed here.
