THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Christmas is just around the corner and on Friday, December 18, The Church At Woodforest treated the community to a winter wonderland of fun holiday activities called 'Let It Snow' that Santa himself would approve of. Located at 700 Fish Creek Thoroughfare in Montgomery Texas, The Church at Woodforest put on an event that helped usher in holiday cheer and the focus of the Christmas season. You could not leave this event without being put in the Christmas mood.

In addition to the Christmas cookies, hot cocoa, Hebrews Coffee and firetrucks, families participated in Christmas karaoke, sledding, arts and crafts as well as snowball fights. Santa even showed up to greet the kids. Where else in South Texas could you go to play in snow. It was a wonderful experience and one that I am sure families enjoyed with their loved ones.

2020 has been a challenging year for most people. As Christmas approaches, it might be hard for the community to get in the Christmas mood or appreciate everything that Christmas represents. The event that The Church at Woodforest gave the community helped families set aside those challenges for a few hours and allowed people to enjoy their families, have fun with their friends and most of all, it encouraged them to celebrate one of the most important events in the world, the birth of Jesus Christ.

It was a great event and one of many that The Church at Woodforest will be holding for the community in the coming years. You can learn more about The Church at Woodfrorest, please go to http://www.churchatwoodforest.org
