The Woodlands United Methodist Church - The Loft Church Opening as Warming Center

THE WOODLANDS, TX - We are opening up the church as a warming shelter.

The main building at The Woodlands Campus will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. so that members can have access to water, charge cellphones or laptops and get warm.

The Loft will be open 24 hours for those who need to stay overnight, starting tonight at 6:00 p.m. through Saturday at noon. If you come to stay overnight, please bring your own blankets, pillows, and food items. Cots are not available.

We will be following COVID regulations by requiring masks to be worn along with proper social distancing.

We are also asking for donations of blankets and pre-packaged, ready-to-eat items. Items should be dropped off at the main entrance of the Loft building.

If you need shelter while your power is out or you need to get warm and recharge your batteries, come to the church. Please share with other members who may also be in need of warmth and shelter while the power is down. We are lifting our community and our city up in prayer as we help each other get through this challenging situation.
