The Woodlands 5, Cypress Woods 0

The Highlanders are on a different level right now. Through two playoff games, The Woodlands has outscored their opponents 12-0. Going back to the regular season, the Highlanders have scored at least three goals in every game since late January.

Goals from Emily Bates, Courtney Koehler, and Katherine Williams gave The Woodlands a 3-0 lead at halftime. Janey Kauppinen and Ivana Palomo joined the goal-scoring party in the second half to secure their fifth shutout win in a row.

The Woodlands (20-1) will go for their 17th straight win in the regional quarterfinals against District 15 runner-up Tomball.

Tomball 3, Oak Ridge 0

The War Eagles finished the 2021 season with an overall record of 9-9-1.

Tomball Memorial 3, Grand Oaks 0

A week after their first-ever playoff victory, the Grizzlies’ season comes to an end with an overall record of 16-5-1.

Klein Cain 1, College Park 1 (KC wins 4-3 on PKs)

Ashley Washburn was the lone scorer for the Cavaliers. CP finishes with a 15-4-2 record.

Boys Soccer

Bridgeland 1, The Woodlands 0

A first-half goal snapped the Highlanders’ 16-game winning streak and cut short what was expected to be a deep playoff run. The District 13-6A champions end their season with a 20-2-2 record.

Klein Forest 2, Oak Ridge 2 (KF wins 5-4 on PKs)

A week after winning their first playoff game in two decades, the War Eagles scored twice in the final 15 minutes to attempt to keep their historic playoff run alive. However, Klein Forest won the penalty shootout to end Oak Ridge’s (11-7-3) season. Adrian Gonzalez scored both goals for the District 13-6A third-place team.
