THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Once again the War of the Woods rivalry continues with The Woodlands having home field advantage over College Park on Tuesday night. The Woodlands is currently sitting comfortable in first place with a 12-0-1 record while College Park is holding the fourth-place spot with a 6-3-3 record.

In the first half, The Woodlands would use their aggression to set the pace of the match against College Park. It was just two minutes by the time Aspen Butaud found the back of the net to give The Woodlands a quick 1-0 lead.

College Park would try to answer back but could not get past The Woodlands defensive backs. The Woodlands would continue to put pressure on the ball and create many turnovers. This is when Freya Hayes would strike in the 16th minute and increase The Woodlands lead 2-0.

From then on it would be all The Woodlands, as College Park struggled to get any shots on goal. Before the half was over Aspen Butaud and Renata Larracilla would chalk up two more goals for The Woodlands giving them a four-point lead going into the half.

Much like the first half, The Woodlands would own the field with their aggression and contain the College Park attacks. It would be seconds by the time they found the back of the net once again to give them a comfortable 5-0 lead.

The Woodlands would close out the game scoring two more points giving Aspen Butaud the hattrick and the team the 7-0 win. They would increase their winning streak while College Park hopes to hold onto the final playoff spot with just a couple games left in the regular season.

The Woodlands will face Caney Creek on the road while College Park travels to Oak Ridge on Friday.
