THE WOODLANDS, TX -- This year marks the 16th anniversary of The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, hosted by The Woodlands Arts Council. The anticipated event opened April 10 and continues April 11. Over 150 artist booths line Town Green Park and The Waterway in what has been ranked one of the top fine arts festivals in the nation.

The outdoor art gallery includes food, drinks, live music, and crafts for kids. Original art pieces ranging from paintings, ceramics, fiber, jewelry, mixed media, photography, woodworks, sculpture and more, can be admired and purchased, with 100 percent of the sale going directly to the artist.

All of the proceeds from the festival itself go towards supporting The Woodlands Arts Council’s community outreach and student scholarship program.

Head of Marketing, Melissa D’Mellow, said that the key to making the event a success year after year is their ability to acquire an array of artists from all over the world, who specialize in different mediums.

“We're so glad to be able to reconnect with the entire community. All of the artists were so thankful for all of the support,” she said.

The festival will continue April 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with early access at 9:00 a.m. for VIP and 60+ | Tickets are $12 online and $15 at the gate. Purchase tickets here! Free festival admission for children 12 & under.
