Microgrant applications now open for Woodlands arts organizations and individuals

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Arts Council has announced that its Microgrant Application for organizations and individuals in The Woodlands and Montgomery County is open.

The application time frame is September 7 to October 5, 2026, and is open to art projects from organizations and individuals in The Woodlands and Montgomery County.

The Woodlands Arts Council Microgrant Program includes the following categories:

• The Dr. David Gottlieb Education Microgrant: Open to all literary, performing, and visual art educators and organizations, this microgrant provides funding for projects that might not otherwise be possible.
• The Performing Arts Microgrant, in partnership with The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, enables organizations, educators, and individuals in Montgomery County to apply for funding for specific projects that further enhance accessibility in the performing arts.
