THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Arts Council is reinventing its annual fall event with a new name, expanded programming, and a renewed vision that reflects the show’s evolution while creating a more engaging experience for visitors.

The Woodlands Fine Craft, Art & Design Show debuts September 26 & 27 with a refreshed identity and enhanced visitor experience.

The event, formerly known as the Texas Fine Craft Show, will debut under its new name, The Woodlands Fine Craft, Art & Design Show, on September 26 and 27, 2026, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel - Town Center North Exhibit Hall. The new name reflects the event's evolution beyond fine craft alone, embracing the growing presence of art and design while maintaining its longstanding commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.

The new identity reflects the event's growth beyond fine craft alone, recognizing the expanding presence of art and design while maintaining its longstanding commitment to exceptional craftsmanship. The show has evolved into a curated indoor event offering a weekend of shopping, discovery, and inspiration. Patrons will discover original works by juried artists and designers from across the country while exploring Wearable Design & Jewelry, Art & Sculpture, and Fine Craft & Home Décor.

Returning favorites, including the opportunity to shop directly from the artists and the scheduled “Meet the Makers” Booth Talks, are complemented by live music throughout the weekend, specialty vendors, and an expanded visitor experience designed to inspire exploration and discovery.

"Over the years, we've listened to our artists, patrons, sponsors, and community, and this evolution reflects what they've told us they value most," said Jenny Carattini-Wright, Executive Director and CEO of The Woodlands Arts Council. "While exceptional fine craft remains at the heart of the show, we've expanded the experience to include more art and design while creating even more opportunities for visitors to discover original work and enjoy a welcoming weekend of shopping and discovery. We believe the new identity better reflects what the event has become and where it's headed."

Produced by The Woodlands Arts Council, the nonprofit organization behind the nationally recognized Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, the show continues the organization's mission to enrich the community through cultural and educational programming that encourages, supports, and promotes the visual, performing, and literary arts.

Additional event details, including the participating artist lineup, ticket information, special promotions, and new visitor experiences, will be announced in the coming weeks.
