Support Montgomery County Youth in Need at 5th Annual ‘Shelter for Shelter’

THE WOODLANDS, TX — The 5th Annual Shelter for Shelter is this Thursday, June 10, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. inside the showroom of Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands. Presented by the Richmond Realty Group RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring, this fundraising event benefits YES to YOUTH - Montgomery County Youth Services.

The Goal:
To raise over $44,000 in order to top last year’s incredible fundraising achievement. Proceeds will go toward YES to YOUTH’s mental health and homeless services, as well as help fund their shelter expansion project.

The Mission:
“YES to YOUTH - Montgomery County Youth Services strengthens the emotional and mental health development of youth and families by providing crisis intervention, counseling, and suicide prevention services. We provide a safe and nurturing home where abused, battered, sex-trafficked, homeless, and at-risk youth begin healing from the past and become empowered for the future.”

Guests will enjoy an evening filled with fun entertainment, delicious fine food and spirits, along with an opportunity to network with community leaders and local businesses. COVID-19 precautions will include masks, sanitizers, and social distancing.

Participating restaurants (to date) include Black Walnut, Chick-fil-A – College Park, Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse, Southern Star Brewing Co., Tommy Bahama, and Truluck’s.
