WEATHER UPDATE from the Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management

THE WOODLANDS,TX – The Montgomery County office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (MCOHSEM) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Montgomery County that started at 2 PM today. A light freezing rain and sleet mix is possible as the front moves in tomorrow evening.

Later Thursday evening, after temperatures have dropped below freezing, ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch are possible. This could cause slippery road conditions along elevated roads, bridges and overpasses overnight Thursday and into Friday morning.
