This is the only voter’s guide to date that extends beyond the Montgomery County borders so that all Township residents and candidates are represented. Along with candidates, the Guide contains the ten Montgomery County Republican Party propositions on this ballot (there are no Montgomery County Democratic Party propositions on this ballot). This Guide is not endorsed or supported by any candidate or party; it is designed to be completely non-partisan and comprehensive so that voters can make educated decisions in the voting booth.

For this edition, all relevant candidates were attempted to be reached via email. Each candidate that was reached was asked the same three questions. Responses were instructed to be limited to 150 words each; any overages would be stopped at that limit with [WORD LIMIT] replacing the removed text. Additionally, all responses were copy/pasted “as-is” into the Guide with absolutely no editing, proofreading, or amending from Woodlands Online staff.

The Guide will be updated to include additional elections relevant to The Woodlands area, including the General Election in November.

Texas election laws prohibit using any electronic devices in the polling location – indeed, poll workers typically order you to turn off your cell phone. However, printed materials are allowed, and the Guide has been designed to be printed out so that you can take it with you to your polling location and into the voting booth. You can print the entire Guide or select pages; a full print is 36 pages (18 sheets of paper if it is full-size double-side printed or only 9 sheets if you print as two pages per sheet double-sided – but you might need to bring your reading glasses for that).
