THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands chapter of ABWA has undergone a shift in leadership following the resignation of former president Darlene Hajduke. Her position has been filled by Dawn Candy, her vice president.

Candy is an active member of the community as well as the owner of I Promote You, a local promotional products business. She currently holds board positions with Montgomery County Women’s Council of Organizations, Montgomery County Association of Business Women, and WISE, as well as serving as Mayor Pro Tem of Oak Ridge. These experiences make her uniquely qualified to help further her chapter’s vision of supporting the personal and professional development of modern women.

Their parent organization, the American Business Women’s Association boasts more than 5,000 business and networking meetings each year in hundreds of cities across the nation. Their mission is to bring together women of diverse occupations and provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally.
