THE WOODLANDS, TX –- Softball Playoffs start today and with Willis and The Woodlands clinching the final spot, the games have been decided. Typically, games are a one and done style but this time the teams have decided to make it a three-game tournament.

Teams will play the best of 3 with the final game decision, if needed, being on Saturday. This makes it interesting because teams sometimes have off days but they can make it up the following day.

Grand Oaks will face the fourth seed Nimitz.

Oak Ridge will face the third seed MacArthur.

Willis will face the second seed Eisenhower.

Finally, The Woodlands will face the first seed in the 14-6A district, Spring.

All these games will be away for The Woodlands local teams with the exception of Oak Ridge, who will have home field advantage in the first round.

Action won’t stop until a winner of the best of three games is crowned. They will move on to the Area round next and hope to make a huge run in the UIL Softball Playoffs.
