HS Softball: Grand Oaks Wins District Opener at Home Against College Park

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Despite the rain and bad weather, the Grand Oaks Lady Grizzlies hosted the College Park Lady Cavalier softball team for the 13-6A district opener. With a cold front moving in, the teams hit the field to warm up and get ready for the game to begin.

Grand Oaks locked down 2 runs giving them an early lead against College Park.

As the teams battled, it was all Grand Oaks’ pitching that gave them the advantage. Kourtney Bellinger dominated the circle and retired many College Park hitters.

Grand Oaks wins their district opener at home against the College Park Lady Cavaliers. Shutting out the Cavaliers, Grand Oaks seems to be the team to watch as they fight their way to the top of the leader board.
