THE WOODLANDS, TX – Summer’s here, and the heat isn’t the only thing being turned up. Chances are, your AC will be on blast, as the weather this week is nothing short of boiling hot. So, if you haven’t yet, get your air conditioner tuned up and your air filters replaced if you don’t want to swelter; the highest it’s reaching is 97 degrees, dead centered on multiple afternoons.

Our daytime highs this week are increasing under literal pressure

For today, we should be expecting a party cloudy Monday, with starting temperatures at a nicer set of lower 80s. By afternoon, the cloud cover lets out, allowing sunshine to prevail. Tonight will be all clear skies, and a chance to kick back and relax, as the winds will make the upper-90s weather all the more bearable.

Tuesday, we’ll be holding onto our moist mornings, as the high levels of humidity mix with our daytime affairs. Temperature wise, we’ll be peaking at 95 by shortly after lunch, but it’ll feel like 104 thanks to the moisture in the air. Be sure to keep your sun hats and sunscreen on standby for a mostly sunny setup.

From dusk through dawn, midweek strikes and Wednesday kicks off with nothing out of the prior ordinary weather patterns – it’s all 80s up until the afternoon. The high will be 96, cooling into 82 overnight. A purely cloudy day and evening will give way to clearer skies by 9:00 p.m.

Thursday fights yet another losing battle to clouds. Stagnant and steady, the temperature rises from the low of 80 to a high of 95. It’s a mostly sunny and dry afternoon, so if you’re planning to go to the pool, stay hydrated because it’s not getting any cooler.

Roasting under summer skies, this week will be staying hot and humid with this Easy-Bake Oven of a weather pattern. Make sure to be looking out for this weekend, because until then Mother Nature is only turning up the heat.

Stay tuned on Friday as we bring you Woodlands Weekend Weather.
