THE WOODLANDS, TX – Woodlands area residents and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the annual culinary cavalcade, Food & Wine Week, which returns for a week-long multi-faceted extravaganza, reuniting scores of culinary and winemaking talent. For lovers of food and drink, this is the not to be missed event. Period. The Week – running June 6-12 – celebrates 18 years as one of the best wine and food events in the region, featuring wine and culinary tastemakers from across the globe.

From Rosé Way: A Sweet Soiree to Texas BBQ to an elaborate Chef of Chefs competition, there are 18 years rolled into one fabulous food fete


Featured events include:

Thursday, June 9 – Rosé Way: A Sweet Soiree
Sparkling rosé and sweet wines, sweet and savory bites + fashion trends. Step into your pink and fancy hat for a perfect girl’s night out. 6-9 p.m.

Friday, June 10 – For the Love of Texas
Step out in your boots. Grab your hat and enjoy BBQ, Tex-Mex and more. Big bold wines, craft beer, tequila tasting and live music. 6 – 9 p.m.

Saturday, June 11 – The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase
Who will win the title of Chef of Chefs plus a $5,000 cash prize and Waterford crystal trophy sponsored by GOYA Foods? One tasty bite from 40 chefs; hundreds of wines, plus the induction of Cleverley Stone into the Wine & Food Week Hall of Fame, being accepted by Katie Stone. An esteemed panel of Culinary Judges from across the U.S. will judge the talented chefs including Houston’s Top Chef contender, Chef Evelyn Garcia. 7 – 10 p.m.

Celebrity chefs scheduled to appear include Maeve Pasquera, Daou Winery; Jamie Benziger, Imagery Winery; Denise and Mike Batek, Hye Meadow Winery – Best Texas wine from HLSR International Wine Competition; scores of chefs from the all over the U.S., Latin America, Aruba, Arizona, Houston, Katy, The Woodlands and more.
