Wine & Food Week presents Going Places Goes Global on June 3

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Wine & Food Week, presented by Food & Vine Time Productions, has announced its latest upcoming celebration. Going Places Goes Global will take place on Wednesday, June 3 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The event will feature two wine seminars, one paired with mouthwatering barbecue and the other exquisite wines from Bulgaria, a ‘trip’ to France with no passport, delicious tastings, and an Emily in Paris lookalike contest complete with French-inspired flair and fashion show presented by Love Always Boutique.

At the event, guests can sip, savor, and discover the unexpected with award-winning Chef Ara Malekian of Harlem Road Texas BBQ. known for blending European fine dining techniques with classic Texas smokehouse traditions. They can also enjoy expertly paired Italian wines from Trinchero Family Wines like Ceretto Barbaresco, Le Macioche Brunello di Montalcino, and Familia Cotrella Montiano, alongside three standout meat samples in a tasting experience that’s anything but ordinary.

Additionally, guests can step into a guided tasting experience featuring Bernhardt Winery’s Antiquity Series, a collection inspired by some of the oldest winemaking traditions in the world. Sourced from lands with centuries-old traditions dating back 8,000 years ago, these wines deliver layered flavors, expressive aromatics, and a timeless style that tells a story in every sip.

The seminar explores Bulgaria’s historic wine regions, offering insight into how climate, soil, and landscape shape each wine’s character. Guests will also discover rare and ancient grape varietals that have been cultivated for centuries, many of which remain largely unknown outside the region.

Attire for the event is suggested as Parisian Chic. Tickets are all-inclusive; all food and beverage tastings are included in the ticket price. General admission is $55, and guests must be aged 21 and up to attend.
