THE WOODLANDS, TX – Hundreds of discriminating wine and food lovers alit at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott for the kickoff of this season’s Wine & Food Week in The Woodlands.

The event featured many local vendors with samples of products, hors d'oeuvres, wines, and spirits. With many dressing in Paris Chic – including event organizer and Food & Vine Time Productions CEO Constance McDerby – attendees were treated to two two wine seminars; one hosted by award-winning Chef Ara Malekian of Harlem Road Texas BBQ, and the other by Robyn Arcia from Bernhardt Winery. Additionally, there was an ‘Emily in Paris’ lookalike contest complete with French-inspired flair and fashion show presented by Love Always Boutique.

“Our whole theme for this year is where wine and your taste buds can take you. This is the night we’re going around the world – from Tuscany to Texas – with wines galore, in an enjoyable event for all,” McDerby told Woodlands Online. “There’s a lot of showmanship combined with our mixology. I’m looking forward to the rest of our events this week.”

Wine & Food Week continues with tonight’s ‘Crushing it with Cocktails’ event at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott, the ‘Ladies of the Vine’ panel luncheon at The Woodlands Country Club and ‘Sips, Suds & Savor’ back at the Marriott on Friday, and the popular Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase closing off the week on Saturday.
