Suspects Arrested For Stealing Mail From Residents In The Spring Creek Oaks Subdivision

SPRING, TX -- On July 11 2022, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 6000 block of Oak Creek Lane in reference to a suspicious person call. The caller stated that two suspects were stealing out of mailboxes.

Upon deputies arriving, they located the suspects. The male was identified as Benjamin Williams but the female fled on foot. After a brief chase, she was detained and identified as a juvenile.

They were found to be in possession of several pieces of stolen mail from victims who reside on Oak Creek Lane. The stolen mail contained credit card information with account numbers and identifying information. It was recovered and returned to the victims.

Deputies contacted the Postal Police who also filed additional charges on the male.

'Benjamin David Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Theft of Mail. His bond and court information have not been set at this time. The juvenile was released to Klein ISD Police.' - Constable Mark Herman
