Children’s Programs:

Baby Bookworms
Mondays, September 12, 19, 26 @ 9:30 am
Join other babies and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Baby Bookworms uses age-appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and playtime to engage babies and their parents/caregivers. Tiny Tots

Toddler Time

Pokémon League
Saturday, September 17 @ 1:30 pm
Love playing the Pokémon card game and discussing all things Pokémon with fellow fans? Join the Pokémon League every first and third Saturday, sponsored by the Magnolia City Pokémon Gym. Bring your favorite deck, play the card game with other fans, and talk all things strategy. This event is open to all ages and skill levels. For more information, call the library at 832-559-4200.

Join us every Saturday to....to what? To do whatever you want! This is a low-stress hangout with video games, a ton of craft supplies, snacks, and tech from our Innovation Lab (when available), so come hang out with us!

Hour of Code

Ready. Set. Code! If you’ve ever taken an introductory coding class, your first words on the internet probably read something like:
Hello World!
That’s great, but…we can do better than that!
Join us for an Hour of Code on September 13th from 10:30am to 11:30am and play a coding game that will teach you how to code! Computers, headphones, and snacks provided…see you there!

Teen/Young Adult Anime & K-Pop Club
September 9th (2nd Fridays) @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Love Anime, Manga, and all things Japanese? Do you love K-Pop? Come join our Young Adult Anime & K-Pop Club in the Tomball Library Teen Room on the second Friday of every month. We explore a new topic every month including Japanese and Korean culture, J-Pop and K-Pop, how to cosplay, how to draw anime, and anime-related crafts! Jar ‘Terrariums’
September 21st @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Join us to create small ‘terrarium’ scenes in a bottle! Choose a beach theme, a woodland theme, or make it your own – this craft is 100% maintenance free with no watering required whatsoever. We have TONS of craft supplies to share, so we hope to see you there!

Teen Creative Writing Club

Do you like origami? Stop by the Community Engagement Area all month long and learn how to make origami art! Make some to take home, and leave one at the library! At the end of the month, we will put donated origami on display for everyone to see!
