THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum (CWJF) recently held their August General Meeting for the membership. CWJF President, Kathy Huse announced that preparations are underway to celebrate the 40th anniversary of CWJF. All the celebrations lead up to a big gala party on February 5, 2023.

CWJF originated from Houston Junior Forum, which began in 1946 as a common interest between a handful of ladies who wanted to serve and volunteer in their own community. Those humble beginnings have grown significantly to recording in fiscal year 2021-2022, 121 active members and 182 sustaining members, 60 scholarships awarded to area graduating seniors in the Cypress, Klein, Woodlands schools and almost 7,000 service hours volunteering in the community. CWJF hopes to continue to attract new members and keep widening their circle of positive impact on the community.
