Daughters of the American Revolution hosts couple who found love from the ashes of 9/11

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Spring Creek chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) was proud to host 56 members and guests on November 11, 2022 at its monthly meeting. Diane and Nick Marson of Spring were the keynote speakers.

Diane and Nick shared their story of how they met and fell in love on September 11, 2001 when their plane was diverted to a small remote town in Newfoundland. They discovered that. through the kindness and compassion of strangers on perhaps the darkest day in modern history, they could find a love that would change their lives forever.
