THE WOODLANDS, TX – Precinct 3 Constable James Noack's office recently contracted with Rebel to fix a drainage and dip issue at the intersection of Falls Lake Drive and Birnham Woods Drive.

Concrete pavement was removed and a drainage trench and pipe installed. Then concrete was poured and the trench grate cover placed, allowing for proper drainage while also smoothing out the right turn from Birnham Woods Drive onto Falls Lake Drive.

Precinct 3 crews also worked with contractor Teamwork Construction Services to replace a failed drainage inlet and pipe along Rayford Road.

The failure occurred where the drainage pipe entered the underground storm sewer box culvert, creating heavy erosion and a collapsing surface inlet. Precinct 3 crews helped excavate the area, then Teamwork replaced the storm pipe, sealed the entrance into the underground box culvert, stabilized the area and poured the concreate surface pad.

Over the first three months of 2023, residents have submitted work orders (mostly completed) for 44 curb repairs, 37 potholes, seven asphalt repairs, six concrete repairs and 139 drainage repair requests, among the many other maintenance responsibilities.

In the coming months, in addition to the ongoing regular road maintenance, residents can expect to see projects involving full-depth concrete repairs, turn-lane storage expansion and intersection improvements.
