Commissioner Noack updates local women's group on precinct work, efforts to combat fentanyl crisis

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack partnered with Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable to speak at the Montgomery County Republican Women meeting March 23.

Commissioner Noack updated attendees on the precinct's road, drainage, signage and signal work, then teamed up with Constable Gable to inform the audience about the deadly fentanyl drug.

Commissioner Noack led the effort of Montgomery County Commissioners Court last year to create a fentanyl task force that includes District Attorney Brett Ligon, County Attorney B.D. Griffin, Sheriff Rand Henderson, county constables and Noack.

The county also is using approximately $3 million received from an opioid lawsuit settlement to help law enforcement combat fentanyl in the county.
