Woodlands Christian Hosts 4th Annual Color Run

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Christian Academy (TWCA) held its 4th Annual Warrior Color Run, sponsored by Hunter Family Orthodontics and Parke & Rogers Dentistry, on April 1st. Organized by chairs, Ted Liu and Kacie Bevers, the event was a resounding success, with over 450 registered runners and the support of generous sponsors and volunteers.
Stephanie Parke, DDS, from Parke & Rogers Dentistry, expressed the importance of the event for the community, stating 'The Woodlands is our home, and we have a lot of patients at TWCA. It's one way we can support our families and community.' Hunter Ross, DDS, MS, from Hunter Family Orthodontics also shared his thoughts on the event saying, 'I love this event because it's a great physical activity the whole family can do together and it’s beneficial to mental health too. We enjoy being out in the community. TWCA - it's wonderful, and we like to be a part of it.'
The Warrior Color Run was a fun-filled day for families. The run started on the school’s 40-acre campus and weaved through W. G. Jones State Forest., where runners were splattered with vibrant colors. Funds raised from this Warrior Boosters event will support Warrior Athletics and Fine Arts Programs.
Woodlands Christian launched a capital campaign to raise $10.8 million to fund construction of a Fine Arts Educational Building and Outdoor Amphitheater. The school invites everyone to attend their upcoming Auction and Gala, A Night At The Opera, on Saturday, April 29th. Sponsorship and tickets are still available, and the school is looking forward to another successful event to benefit their programs.
