Precinct 3 crews install new lights for league ball fields

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Montgomery County Precinct 3 recently contracted with Spark Lighting to upgrade the field lights at the South County Football League off of Pruitt Road. The upgrades included replacing the old metal halide lighting fixtures with a state-of-the-art LED lighting system.

The upgrades provide energy savings, a longer lifespan, minimal maintenance without the need to replace bulbs, brighter and more widespread illumination of the fields, wireless controls, and a more environmentally friendly lighting system

The installation was completed earlier this month. Precinct 3 is next working on plans to replace the older lighting systems at the South Montgomery County Girls Softball League and Oak Ridge Woodlands Area Little League fields.

As for additional facility upgrades, Commissioner Noack's Precinct 3 office is spearheading renovations at the Ed Chance Annex off of Lake Front Circle to improve facilities for the county departments that have offices and other rooms at that location. This is ongoing and will take approximately a year to complete.
