SHENANDOAH, TX – Each October, the City of Shenandoah Civic Club names two residences as the Bootastic Decorated Houses during Halloween. The houses are selected during the week of Halloween to allow residents time to set up their ghoulish displays. Be sure to go by and see these winners and all the other decorated homes in Shenandoah as you are out and about Tuesday night.

The first Bootastic winner is 29104 Cedarwood, the home of Marti and Charlie Bradt. If that name sounds familiar, it is because Charlie Bradt is a Shenandoah Councilmember. The yard features a cemetery bathed in Halloween orange lights and protected by a huge spider web.

The second Bootastic winner is 515 Shenandoah Drive, the home of Tim and Jayne Meredith. Through a series of vignettes, the Meredith’s yard captured participants in a huge Halloween party. This definitely gave meaning to the expression “come and sit a spell.” The colors also add a festive nuance to the party. Be sure to put this on your places to visit Halloween night.
