Today is National Seat Belt Day

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Today, November 14th, holds special significance as National Seat Belt Day. The Kailee Mills Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about seat belt safety and educating the public on its importance. The Foundation was formed by the parents of Kailee Mills, a local high school student who tragically perished in a car accident while not wearing a seat belt.

In recognition of National Seat Belt Day, the Foundation has joined forces with local restaurants and businesses to celebrate this crucial occasion. During this week, a portion of the proceeds generated from these collaborations will be directed towards supporting the Kailee Mills Foundation. These contributions will play a vital role in sustaining our efforts to further seat belt safety initiatives.

Restaurants participating in National Seat Belt Day include:

• Thistle Draftshop – their newly created ‘Give Back Menu’ includes (Seat) Belt Sandwich, (Buckle Up) Burger, Buckle Bunny beer, and 7 Iron beer.
• The Blind Finch – each sale of their newly created ‘Kailee Cocktail’ will give back until Thursday.
• Texas Roadhouse – will be donating 10% of total food and beverage sales on National Seat Belt Day.
