CONROE, TX -- The Conroe ISD Police Department is looking to hire new officers following the Board of Trustees’ approval of a District-wide pay raise at its November meeting.

With a starting salary increase of more than $8,500, Conroe ISD Police personnel can earn from $58,900-$69,300 based on qualifications and experience. The District also offers paid training, vacation, medical and retirement benefits.

“There is nothing more important than protecting the students, staff, and visitors each day at our CISD campuses and facilities,” Chief of Police Matthew Blakelock said. “We hope to attract the highest quality candidates with this new starting pay and other career opportunities to help us fulfill our mission of ‘Safeguarding the Future…Today.’”

Conroe ISD seeks to staff each campus with at least one police officer the entire school day. The Police Department will also be adding a police liaison position, which will work 202 days, instead of the usual 262.
