HS Baseball: The Coaches of 13-6A Make Their Selections for the 13-6A All-District Teams

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The best player and coaching talents in 13-6A were honored at the naming of the All-District teams, along with the annual postseason awards that highlight the best of the best from the ultra-competitive district.

Following the conclusion of a historic run for the Conroe Tigers, who represented the deepest team in the postseason for the district, the teams of 13-6A released the lists of their top talent who had the honor of being chosen for the All-District teams.

The players who made the list had to be nominated by their respective coaches, leaving their placement up to the coaches who led the teams they played against.

Intangibles were combined with impact on the field, ensuring that the players chosen had a clear-cut reason for ending up where they were placed.

The Willis Wildkats led the way with the most players chosen for awards and teams at nine, but the relative balance in teams represented on the list highlights the overall success of the district in a year of historic precedent.
