“There is two weeks of training left before we leave for Sarasota. Our athletes have worked hard this spring, and I expect more hard work to come. Their performance in Oklahoma is a testament to their hard work, their desire to improve just a little each day, and their dedication and belief in the process. said Parati Head Coach Michael Rosman. “This is a young group, there are only five seniors in this group, and we are thankful for their leadership and the example they set for their younger teammates.”
As Parati enters its 14th season, the team remains dedicated to using rowing as a platform to teach life lessons such as leadership, self-advocacy, determination, and the rewards of hard work. No team in Texas has more boats and athletes going to Youth Nationals, and no team in Texas has a stronger record of consistently delivering Nationals qualifying crews. This success is due to a consistent philosophy that puts the youth athlete first and strives to give them the tools to accomplish their dreams. Consistent philosophy and consistent coaching are at the heart of Parati’s long-term success.
